Our Technique

Young instructors who know the technology pass their knowledge through informal education!

Hands on activities in which educators children and parents create together and practice their imagination. Young researchers, instructors of various specialties, teachers with experience in international educational programs, Robotics Expert's and of course CHILDREN from 5 to 15+, come together in a Brainstorming of ideas!

Robotics, building LEGO® creations, two-dimensional design, three dimensional constructions, use of imagination to discover problems and creativity to solve them, enhancement of self-esteem and descriptive expression.

Groups are use Greek, English, French, German, knowledge is everywhere.

Children draw and paint in two or three dimensions, understand their capacities, sizes, number correlation and programming concepts.

At the same time, they practice social skills, work together in small groups, learn to present their ideas and express themselves in multiple and creative ways!

Participating children work in small groups, particularly the age group of the workshop, which is expressed in 24 sessions of each teaching period. Workshop circles are available for children who are now starting or also participating in an earlier workshop!

Our children surprise us with their ideas and creativity.

That is why the workshops works and let them experiment in real inexperienced ways and share their works with their community.

Young explorer collaborates with his team, through whom he helps and receives help, presents his ideas and accepts the suggestions of the others.

At the same time he cultivates his artistic skills as he has to decorate his creations with exciting effects.

We follow eduACT's program for coding, with tools like Python, Scratch and other interactive development environments. Through 8 workshops aimed at spreading computer science to schools we:

Learn and explore the basic principles of programming in a fun and experiential manner.

•Practice logic, creativity, algorithmic as well as analytical thinking.

Learn how to deal with and solve programming problems.

Create and share our projects in the Scratch community in order to get to Python's programming environment and programming language.

Improve our cooperative skills

Understand the value and importance of coding

We take the necessary experience to dynamically enter the world of computers and continue our journey


Groups of students 8-10 years old, separated by age, 8 two-hour sessions, once a week, mentors with experience in the IT world and a room full of computers!

Workshops Coding – F.A.Q.

Code is the necessary commands/instructions written in computer language, which is contained in every program. Coding is the process of writing code.
We follow eduACT workshop plans (using Scratch and Python as tools) that aim to make the basic programming concepts and computer science more accessible to the children. We learn through play and art the basic knowledge of computers and especially programming.
We use Scratch. This is a language made especially for educational cause. It is easy to learn and use but at the same time it is powerful and flexible. The commands are brick-shaped, they can drag and drop and they stick with each other. This computer language provides an excellent visual way of familiarity with coding and it is easy to use.
No. All it takes is a basic familiarization of the children with computers and technology.
There are two classes. One for children who attend 4th, 5th and 6th class of primary school (Scratch meets Python) and one for children who attend high school (Python meets reality)
Coding workshops are finished after 24 sessions
It lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes
Someone who has finished a whole circle of workshops knows the basics of coding. The most important thing is that he/she has enough experience to experiment and discover new things alone. He/ She can also create a whole Scratch project by himself/herself.
Coding workshops mean to educate children so they can learn by themselves! Coding workshops provide basic knowledge and at the same time they act as an underlay for more advanced subjects. Furthermore, the prime purpose of coding workshops is to encourage children to explore by themselves this new science and to inspire them to create their own programs. The coding workshops give children the basic knowledge and experience so they can carry on by themselves the programming wandering. The children who participate in the workshops work in small groups following a specifically designed for their age series of workshops. Each series finishes in 24 meetings and each meeting lasts 1hour and 30 minutes. There are workshops series for children who are beginners or for children who have already participated in previous workshops.

The Educational and Non Profit Association eduACT – “Action for Education”, eliminates the limits of formal education of today and introduces new educational programs for all the children of tomorrow.

Within the five-year mandate in the field of non-formal education and especially with emphasis on new technologies, coding and educational robotics, eduACT takes initiatives in the field of modern education by implementing practices aimed at introducing innovation into the educational process. Having done our first successful steps and in order to succeed the connection above, we decide to create a place of knowledge to enable our people to broaden our association’s actions, giving opportunities to knowledge without discrimination. EduACT Platia dedicated on October of 2018 at the end of 5 years of association’s operation and committed to become the hub for the next two years’ innovations. Our main purpose is to have this hub as a base and our educational programs to reach every corner of our country.

As part of its activities, eduACT implements the program “Creative Mornings”. The program operates successfully the last two years and has hosted schools from all over Greece, Erasmus programs and environmental programs. It has, also, given the opportunity to children groups who are to the limit of social exclusion to participate in the most innovative educational programs. This program focuses on school visits to familiarize children with robotics and technology through research, play and the development of autonomous robots.

Our challenge is to tap into the continuous change and growth of our mind and direct it through ways that can strengthen our total performance and make the quality of our life better.
Based on the fact that our brain is the most complicated engine on earth this work isn’t easy. New activities adoption that makes us think, learn and demand constant practice can be one of the best ways to boost our brain.
We go to a gym in order to train our muscles, we run or we walk to build our durability, but what can we do to train our brain? In eduACT, we train our brain, we reinforce the future citizens with essential skills.
