SPY CAMP - Top Secret Training
Agios Nikolaos Chalkidiki
This year, the camp turns into a top secret agent training! A unique experience that combines camping lifestyle and connection with nature with technological development and its integration into our everyday life, awaits aspiring future agents to go through top secret training and graduate from the agent’s school with honors!
The purpose of this program is to familiarize the participants with coding!
* Our campsites operate in accordance with the government health guidelines.
Technology is now inextricably linked to our everyday lives. But how should we exploit and use it to improve our lives? The project combines nature with technology and art in perfect harmony. The educational content consists of a wide variety of educational robotics activities, STEAM activities using simple materials, cooking, mystery games that sharpen the mind and spirit, team games and many surprises. Using new technologies, the young campers experiment, investigate and of course have fun.
Both sport and water activities, as well as robotics workshops, crafts, team games, challenges and evening entertainment make up the integrated fun and educational program, within a unique thematic unit!
Swimming: On the camp's magnificent beach, campers enjoy the joy of the sea every day. Swimming lessons according to age and level always under the watchful eye of the experienced camp staff and lifeguards. The aim is to familiarize children with the sea through the knowledge of safe swimming but also through play.
Neosikos: It is the place where we learn sailing and canoeing. It is another fascinating way to get in touch with the sea and its beauty. Trips to nearby beaches, clear blue waters, races, and fun beyond description. When it's windy the familiarity with sailing becomes an unforgettable experience.
The sport facilities of the camp, basketball, football, volleyball, beach volleyball and handball fields prove that for YMCA, sport and especially the development of fair play among the campers play a dominant role in the daily program and cultivate in the children team spirit and the value of participation. Campers, after being taught the fundamentals of each sport, participate in team tournaments between the campsites while the individual skills of ping pong, chess, etc. are also being cultivated. The top sporting event of the camp is the Olympic Day, during which campers take part in various sports and at the end of the day, in a festive ceremony, prizes and medals are awarded to the best athletes.
Climbing, passing through small and medium height structures with wooden sticks and ropes and a series of "extreme games" give the opportunity for entertainment but also for the development of individual and team skills. Campers respond to the challenge to the point where they feel comfortable. The satisfaction of success at one level of difficulty and continuing to the next stage, strengthens campers' confidence and belief in their abilities. In these games we discover ourselves, face our fears and limits and often overcome them.
Constructions, crafts, etc. aimed at the creative entertainment of the children, the enhancement of their abilities and the way they work together as a group. Of particular interest are the activities about the environment through play, new experiences and contact with nature.
Robotics & STEAM
Educational robotics workshops and STEAM activities complete the children's curriculum. The workshops are planned and carried out by Eduact's experienced educational staff, with many years of experience and a lot of enthusiasm! The goal is for campers to master 21st century skills in the most fun way possible!
