9th Glafki Workshop

On Saturday 2 March 2019, the ninth workshop of the “Γλαfx” took place. In this
workshop the children discovered the world of music, with robotics as their tool.
They built a robot using a color sensor. Then they programmed it to reproduce
different notes depending on the color identified by the sensor. Learning about the
notes and the meaning of their sequence, the children reproduced the melody from
the children’s song “Twinkle twinkle little star” and then each group made its own
melody. In order to achieve this, instead of notes in pentagram, the children placed
in circle, colored cardboard in the desired order and the rest handled by the robot. It
was a workshop full of rhythm, fun and imagination!
